Jensen Investment Management Appoints Matt Murphy as Relationship Manager for Eastern U.S. Intermediary Territory
LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. — Jensen Investment Management (“Jensen”), a 100% employee-owned active equity investment management firm, today announced that Matt Murphy has joined the firm as its relationship manager responsible for intermediary client coverage and business development in the eastern United States. Murphy will be based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and report to Richard Clark, head of business development.
In this role, Murphy will focus on expanding Jensen’s relationships with RIAs, family offices, bank trust departments and other intermediaries across the eastern region. He brings extensive experience in the asset management industry, having previously held senior positions at Aristotle Capital/Pacific Funds, Forester Capital LLC and BNY Mellon Investment Management.
“Matt is a highly respected industry veteran, and we are excited to welcome him to our team,” said Gabe Goddard, managing director at Jensen. “His deep expertise and long-standing relationships in the intermediary space will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our client coverage and deliver quality-focused investment solutions to our partners.”
In a related move, Clark will shift his focus to managing key accounts and driving strategic growth opportunities across the country. Alexandria Sorosky will continue to oversee client coverage and business development for the western U.S. intermediary territory.

Murphy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from the University of Dayton.
