Jensen Promotes Kevin Walkush as Head of ESG
LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. — Jensen Investment Management, a 100% employee-owned active equity investment management firm, today announced the appointment of Kevin Walkush as head of its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
In his new role, Kevin will be responsible for building on the firm’s existing ESG offerings and driving capabilities in the assessment of ESG-related risks and opportunities in portfolio construction on behalf of Jensen’s clients.

Kevin joined Jensen in 2007 as a Portfolio Manager and is a voting member of the Investment Team. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Kevin is a portfolio manager and a voting member of the Investment Team. He also conducts fundamental research on potential companies as well as monitors portfolio companies. Additionally, Kevin leads efforts to incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in the firm’s investment processes.
Kevin joined Jensen from Morningstar where he held the position of Equity Analyst. In that role, Kevin provided equity research coverage of industrial, mining, and alternative energy stocks. Prior to Morningstar, he consulted for Lux Capital where he performed due diligence on investment candidates, as well as prepared university based technology for commercialization.
Kevin has also held various finance and operational roles at Amazon.com and Weyerhaeuser. He earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA from the University of Michigan.
